I am Eloise, an aspiring forensic psychologist with 40 years of life experience that I bring to my work and studies. As a proud member of the LGBT+ community, I am passionate about advocating for diversity and inclusivity in society; especially within psychology and the criminal justice system.
I graduated with a First-Class degree in Forensic Psychology, which reflects my dedication to understanding the psychological factors behind criminal behaviour. I am now pursuing an MSc in Forensic Psychology, focusing on offender rehabilitation, victim support and the intersection of psychology and law.
My diverse life experiences, including my identity as part of the LGBT+ community, have given me a deep appreciation for the social and psychological dynamics that shape human behaviour. I aim to use this understanding to challenge biases within the criminal justice system and contribute to developing more equitable and effective practices.
Outside of my academic work, I enjoy participating in discussions on contemporary issues in criminal justice and LGBT+ rights. I seek to live life more sustainably and advocate for society to consider the warnings of climate change. I am driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in forensic psychology, combining my life experience, inclusive outlook, and academic achievements to help shape a more just and understanding society.
